Universal Testing Machines
H3000TM / H5000TM – Compact Single-Column Testing Machines up to 5 kN
The microprocessor-controlled universal testing machines H3000TM (up to 3 kN) and H5000TM (up to 5 kN) from Richard Hess MBV GmbH are specifically designed for tensile, compression, and bending tests in the lower force range.
They combine a compact design with high precision and flexibility – ideal for test laboratories and demanding production environments.
Key Features at a Glance
Compact Single-Column Design
Sturdy frame construction made of aluminum and stainless steel with a fully enclosed spindle unit for low-maintenance operation
Flexible Test Software & Operation
Basic tests (e.g. break/peak value detection) can be performed directly via the integrated numeric keypad – no PC required
Force and displacement values are shown on a 2-line LCD display
Advanced test sequences, remote control, and graphical evaluation are available via PC software under Windows
Versatile Applications
Perfect for standardized and custom test procedures with a wide range of available grips and fixtures
Standards-Compliant Accuracy
Conforms to accuracy class 0.5 according to DIN EN ISO 7500-1
Typical Areas of Application
- Materials testing in laboratories
- Production-related quality control
- Testing of plastics, elastomers, light metals, and more
H3000TM and H5000TM – the ideal solution for precise and user-friendly testing in the lower force range.
Precise Force Measurement in the Low-Force Range
For testing applications involving lower forces, Richard Hess MBV GmbH offers specially calibrated low-capacity load cells. These sensors ensure high accuracy and repeatability, even in small-scale measurements.
Available Load Cells:
- Measuring ranges from 5 N to 5000 N
- Linearity error ≤ 0.03% – for precise and standards-compliant test results
These load cells are ideal for detailed material and component testing, especially for plastics, composites, and delicate specimens.
