Automated Laboratory Presses with Compact Design and Advanced Control
The Fontijne Presses LabTop Series – available with pressing capacities of 150 kN or 300 kN – combines the compact footprint of our manually operated LabManual presses with the automated ProView control system used in our LabEcon and LabPro series.
Depending on the model (150 or 300), the LabTop offers pressing forces up to 150 kN or 300 kN and temperatures up to 300 °C. Regardless of model or settings, it delivers highly accurate and consistent results.
Thanks to its small footprint and 230 V power connection, the LabTop can be easily installed in any laboratory.
Its ergonomic design and intuitive touchscreen operation make it particularly user-friendly and appreciated by laboratory technicians.
The LabTop Series is equipped with multiple safety features, including a fixed upper platen, an emergency stop system, and a protective safety cover.
Designed for demanding quality control and R&D applications, the LabTop Series ensures precision, repeatability, and ease of use in every process.
Each LabTop press is delivered with our advanced ProView control system, featuring a 15-inch touchscreen for precise temperature and closing force control.
The large, clear display provides an excellent overview of all parameters and process progress, ensuring maximum convenience and control for the operator.
In addition, the system includes an automatic venting/degassing cycle, which allows the press to automatically open and close after a pre-set time, ensuring proper air removal during the pressing process.

| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Active Cooling System | Automated water-cooling of the press plates, controlled by electric valves. This allows the press to be quickly prepared for tasks that require a lower temperature setpoint. Upon request, the cooling system can be configured according to ASTM D4703, achieving a cooling rate of 15 °C/min. |
| Chromed Protection Plates | At higher temperature settings, sample material may adhere to the press plates. This can easily be prevented by using a set of chromed protection plates, ensuring clean and uniform pressing surfaces. |
| Extended Warranty & Maintenance Plan | Upon request, the standard warranty period can be extended. Fontijne Presses also offers preventive maintenance and a professional calibration service to ensure your LabTop press remains in optimal condition over time. |
